September 2025

what's new?

It's finally warm, instead of freakishly hot! It's absolutely fantastic. I can open the windows and go for walks again. Although I haven't had a pumpkin spice latte yet, I'll be having at least one this season.

The sexy new Wolfe Mountain series has started, and I'm currently writing book #3. These 5 brothers are a handful, and they're genuinely fun to write.

There is a 62.3% chance there will be a Christmas book in late November, but I'm behind on a bunch of things due to saws and hammering happening uncomfortably close to my desk. I apologize that my book production has slowed down this year, but it can't be helped. Perhaps it's a good time to check out some of my older books, like Scrappily Ever After, or The Last Date, or maybe Heart Shaped Spotlight?

Don't miss the freebie section at the bottom of the Books page. Check out the Paperbacks section. Still under construction, but should be steadily filling up.

what people are saying...

Review Fragments for Dirty Whispers

- Another town created by Haley that I absolutely love. This was sweet. Griffin is the MMC and tow truck driver. Harper is our FMC and a certified city girl. But sparks fly between these two. Opposites attract strongly in this one. But Harper starts doubting her place in Old Hemlock Valley. Can she fit in here? Ah, Griffin. Griffin works overtime to ease her worries and show her how he feels about her and that love is worth taking a chance. Haley is queen for feel good
romance.

- Haley Travis kicks off a brand new series, Dirty Brothers of Wolfe Mountain, with the steamy small town age-gap romance Dirty Whispers. Griffin Dirty owns the auto shop in his small home town along with his two brothers, and though he has no desire to leave, he has been hoping for a woman to come along to steal his heart. Enter Harper, a new college graduate staying in Old Hemlock Valley for the summer as part of an internship along with two of her girlfriends. When her car breaks down and Griffin comes to her rescue, both are instantly smitten. But he is older and more experienced, and her youth and tend to overanalyze
everything make her wary. Will he be able to win her heart before she makes a long-term decision that could take her away? An entertaining, super swoony and steamy romance.

Review Fragments for She's Got That Spark

- She’s Got That Spark is swoony, sexy, and so sweet! I absolutely adore Crow—he is an alpha cinnamon roll possessive sweetheart. His small town has decided he is a bad guy because of what he does and how he looks, but he never lets that dim his light. Emma is your classic sheltered good girl who knows her own mind and refuses to bend to the will of others. Living life with an open heart and open mind, she immediately gravitates towards Crow. Their connection is instant and intense, their chemistry is delectable and powerful, and their story is epically transcendent. Author Haley Travis has quickly become one of my favorites, as she writes realistic characters, builds beautiful worlds, and crafts delightfully delicious love stories that I never want to end. This novella is amazing and I’ll definitely read it again. I can’t wait for the next books in this series!!!

- She isn't the only one that has that spark. They have it together. Chemistry galore between these two. I absolutely loved this. I love all of Haley's books and I'm adding this to that list. I loved Crow. He'd do anything to get his girl. Emma was super sweet. Lots of spice and sweetness in this one. It was absolutely perfect. He came to her rescue and immediately knew she was the one. Swoon.

- Haley Travis kicks off her brand new Firefighters of Wolfe Mountain series with the swoon-worthy age-gap She's Got that Spark. Emma has recently moved to Cedarville and in with her aunt and uncle to escape the overwhelming bustle of the city. Something of an outsider, tattoo artist and volunteer firefighter Crow meets Emma when he walks into the cafe where she is working - right across the street from his tattoo studio. Instantly smitten with the younger woman, Crow is soon intent onmaking Emma his. A sweet and steamy age-gap romance that will make you swoon.

Review Fragments for Be-Leaf in Love

- Haley Travis kicks off a brand new series, Love Blooms in Kingsville, with the fabulous age-gap Be-Leaf in Love. Stuffy investment tycoon Jack English is knocked off his feet when the young and beautiful "plant girl" Violet breezes into his office. Suddenly the next deal isn't as
important as convincing the gorgeous young hippy woman that their differences are what make them work. A swoony and steamy romance that perfectly begins this new series.

- It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her billionaire CEO romance. Violet is a 21 year old sweet, artistic, and curvy girl who runs a plant shop with her mom and two older sisters. ... Jack is a 37 year old hunky, slightly grumpy, workaholic CEO of his own investment firm. ...As they spend time together, love blooms, but Violet is worried she's too much of a hippie for his reputation. Can Jack show her that he's all in? These two had great chemistry, and their personalities were so complimentary. I loved it! We got a great HEA. I can't wait for Iris and Jasmine's stories!

- The CEO and The Hippie    Jack and Violet meet-cute instalove story is so adorable and sweet. It’s still a bit spicy too. This is the story you will keep in your favorites so you can reread it when you’re having a bad day. You need it in your life!

Review Fragments for Rescued by the Surly Woodsman

- Sage is the sunshine to Barrett’s cloudiness. This steamy, lovely story read like a fairytale, with the princess being rescued by the grumpy prince.

- I forgot how much I enjoy Haley Travis's books! This one was no exception! It was so good. The details felt realistic and natural and not forced or rushed for a novella. The relationship build up also felt organic and so dreamy. And the spicy scenes were so good and hot! Like
they were more detailed and graphic and I loved it! This might be my favorite book of hers yet!

- Sage, a nature photographer, gets herself stranded in the wilderness, only to be saved by Barrett—a grumpy, off-the-grid woodsman who turns out to be as rugged as he is irresistible. Stuck in his cabin while she recovers, sparks fly, tensions rise, and suddenly, isolation doesn't seem so bad.

This is how a novella is done, folks. ... a sweet, steamy, and ridiculously satisfying romance. The chemistry? On point. The characters? Endearing and well-developed. And Barrett? Let’s
just say I’m strongly considering an ankle-related "accident" in the middle of nowhere if it means being scooped up by a brooding woodsman.

Throw in just the right amount of drama, a believable connection, and enough steam to fog up the cabin windows, and you’ve got yourself a novella that hits just right.

Review Fragments for Cold Snap

- Absolute PERFECTION is how I would describe this book…

- Best Book Boyfriend! ... Talk about hot! I’ve enjoyed the previous two books in this series as well but I think the author saved the best for last. I’m not sure if a man like Baz actually exists but, even if he doesn’t, THIS Baz will always be one of my favorite book boyfriends, one by which all other bbf’s will be measured against.

- Baz’s adorableness will make you melt. He doesn’t know how to woo a woman but he sure knows what to say to make a woman swoon! He’s effortlessly and sweetly romantic — snowman Fred melted me faster than a snowball in July.

- This is a great mountain man/curvy girl insta-romance…sweet and sexy, addictive and fun-to-read..

- …just so funny from their first hello to the way they fall head over heels…

- Baz and Rosa sizzle with chemistry…

- Wow, what a sweet story!

Review Fragments for Unlikely Match

- HOT, HOT, HOT read by Haley that you need to read today and not wait any longer. Jewel will have your heart ache for her because she is struggling and not looking for any type of romance or love. So, when she enters a contest look out because things are about to get steamy and change. She isn't sure if it's real or still part of the contest. Alex and Jewel are two really great characters that make you smile because the book is just that darn good.

- The meet cute and interactions for their blind date draw you in and holds you until the end. There are some pretty steamy moments that are fire. Loved it!! Simple and hot feel good read!!!

- This is a cute, fun, fast packed adventure with two people who have just met on a dating competition.. ...  I loved this story, the characters are great, it's perfect amount of steam and a fun unique valentine read. Loved it.

- I loved how these two meet and how each character was entering in this contest for different reasons but ends up finding the best thing in life a partner to complete them. Truly a romantic valentines love story.

Review Fragments for Thin Ice

- ... captivating from beginning to end.
- I can honestly say it was a 110% read.
- It's a good balance between sweet, spicy, and deep emotions/conversations.
- I laughed at how well these two fell fast and hard for each other and couldn't stop reading this story. I can't wait for the next book.

Review Fragments for Fresh Chemistry

- I LOVED this story! Even though it’s a novella, I felt like there was so much more! I loved both of the characters, too. Mark was so realistic and devoted to Nicola. She’s a little unsure of his feelings but so hopeful.

- I loved Mark. He was SO dreamy! 😍 I loved how he was from the very second he saw Nicola again. They were both completely starstruck with each other it was so incredibly sweet. Their chemistry together was crazy, through the roof hot. ... It was absolutely perfect and I have to say one of my top favorites from Haley.

- I loved how the characters had their doubts and fears about where their relationship - if there even was one - was going. Both seemed like real people with real problems.

Review Fragments for The Lumberjack's Quirky Girl:

- There are some stories that after a few lines you know this is going to be an amazing read. The story is fun, flirty, colorful. Filled with good vibes and instant love. The characters, Elise and Braden are fun loving, down to earth and a dang cute couple...The story is sweet, tender, loving, passionate and filled with romance and love. I can’t wait for the next one!

- LOVEEEE   This book was absolute perfection I couldn’t get enough I didn’t stop reading until I got to the end! The whole family dynamic was amazing aside from the horrible uncle can’t wait for more of the series to come out!!!

- Absolutely loved the story. Elise is an artist through and through and I loved her quirky side.

- Elise knows she's different and doesn't fit the "normal" mode (her parents told her often enough), so when a handsome "normal" man starts paying attention to her she's taken aback. But she likes it! 🤗 I loved how Braden just seemed to accept and dive right into her quirkiness. He gave her complete acceptance.

- This is a story about accepting a person for who they are and not for the way society claims they should be.

- Elise is the quirky girl in town and when Braden meets her by chance when she’s on her break he’s hooked. This was such a cute yet hot read and a great way to start off a new series.

- Great introduction to the Oakley family. Loved Elise and Braden from the get go. Their immediate comfort and intrigue with each other made me want to root for them!

Review Fragments for Her The Bodybuilder's Shy Girl:

- An OTT instalove romance between a bodybuilder and the shy new receptionist at his gym. This book definitely puts the instant in instalove with a heated kiss moments after first meeting. Luckily it’s definitely love and he wants all her firsts, her nexts, and her lasts. Caleb and Brianna are fantastic characters and I really enjoyed the way Caleb came along and wanted to take care of her.
- These two characters are just so dang cute. Caleb seems like a sweetheart. The story has some steam, heart thumping, passionate and filled with instant attraction/instant love.
- This was wonderful. I loved Caleb. He was strong and tough, yet sweet and gentle with Brianna. They definitely brought out the best in each other. I also loved getting to see more of Adam's back story. I love when books overlap and you get more and more of the author created world. I adore Haley's Oakton/Mackton world.
- I always thought the idea of instalove would turn me off since most of the time that is not the way it happens in real life, but for some reason with these stories, it has me believing that anything is possible in the real world. Plus, when you throw in the spice and the obvious chemistry between the two main characters, you really can't lose.

Review Fragments for Her New Bodyguard: Jackson:

- Nobody writes a protective alpha male like Haley Travis! Jackson will make you swoon with his protective side, his sweet side, his controlling side, and his steamy side.
- It is engaging, funny, steamy, fast-paced, and well written with kidnapping, danger, likeable characters, instant chemistry, and more. Definitely recommended!
- This book is absolutely fantastic and had me enthralled from the beginning until the end
- A great new series. I loved everything about this one. Intense, great characters that will leave you only wanting more!

Review Fragments for Mr. Right... On Time:
- I have long been a fan of Haley Travis' sweet and hot romances, and once again, she's hit the mark here! Her characters of Dana, a free spirited barista, and Asher, an uptight stockbroker, seem an unlikely pairing at first, but once their chemistry bursts off the page, you can see that they are in for a wild but satisfying ride throughout the book ...  here she creates such vivid characters, they almost leap from the page. If you're in the mood for a romantic, sexy, quick read, you can't do better than a book by Haley Travis!
- I have been following this series, and the story of Dana and Asher is my favorite so far! In addition to refreshing settings, this romance has protagonists of interesting personalities and lifestyle. It was a cute fun read!

Review Fragments for Never Tease the Boss:
- I can always count on this author for a well written, satisfying romance, and the story of Jeremy and Amelia is no exception. Amelia is such a down to earth, refreshing female character, I can't help but root for her. It is an amazing office romance!
- Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and had me hooked from the beginning... I absolutely fell in with the characters.
- Jeremy and Amelia have steam, sizzle. They click, they fit, they go together.
- Haley Travis' latest release is so freakin dang hot!
- I thought this novella was sweet, and really loved Jeremy and Amelia as they are so adorable together.
- I loved the passion and the fire that these two share. A really good story!

Review Fragments for Fake Summer Boyfriend:
- Ohhh this book was like a warm hug, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Such a little gem!
- I was just going to read a little before going to the store, but Hayden and Leifs story drew me in and would not let me go till I finished it! I loved their story!
- Leif is just so adorable, funny, sexy, kind, strong, gentle, respectful and loving *sigh*, he was such a good character and just what Hayden needed in her life.
- Leif and Hayden will have you in their corner cheering them on to finding happiness.

Review Fragments for Hired by Pirates:
- I think I love Haley Travis' historical pieces more than her contemporary stuff! I hated having to put this down when it was time for me to go to work.
- This twisty little charmer was fun to read.
- This is a very fun age gap pirate romance. It is cute and steamy, with lovable characters.
- Excellent story full of detail and expressions.
- The story-line is just a lot of light and quirky fun romance with action and adventure woven in.
- What a fun read! This story may be outrageous, but it will certainly grab your interest. You won’t be able to put this book down. There’s all the elements of weather and weathering life on a ship with a group of men. Sounds exciting and it is. Nothing dull in this book! Love the romance and how the Captain and Astor manage to balance out their lives. All I can say is: Haley Travis - write more pirate stories!
