Snow. On April 21st.

Snow. On April 21st.

Weather people in Canada sometimes get very dramatic. They warn us of a storm as if it's going to tear the roofs off all of our houses, when actually it's a 10% chance of rain. It gets exhausting.
So when they said it was going to snow on Wednesday, I rolled my eyes. Sure, there might be a slight dusting an hour north. Whatever.
Well. I was surprised to find a few inches of snow had fallen overnight! It's now nearly two in the afternoon, and the streets are perfectly clear. There is a slight white residue in shady corners, but it's blown off most of the trees already. By tomorrow, we'll be back to spring.
That is, Real Spring. Not the "fool's spring" of last week.
This is great, because my latest excuse of being too busy to clear the garden is due to my second pirate book! Taken by Pirates is coming soon.
Stay tuned for that, and thanks for reading.
Whatever the weather is like where you live, listen to the weather people, but keep an eye on the sky yourself.
